Job Summary
We are looking for a Shop Floor / Machine Operator to support our manufacturing and production activities at our Bhosari, Pune facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating assigned machines, assisting in shop-floor production, maintaining workplace safety and supporting the production team in achieving quality and productivity targets.
Freshers with a willingness to learn and candidates with 2–3 years of relevant shop-floor or machine-operating experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned production and workshop machinery as per standard operating procedures.
- Understand basic machine functions, controls, settings and operating parameters.
- Carry out loading, unloading, clamping and positioning of components or materials safely.
- Assist in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, assembly and related shop-floor activities as assigned.
- Follow production drawings, work instructions and supervisor guidelines.
- Check components visually and with basic measuring instruments wherever required.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and identify visible defects or abnormalities during production.
- Ensure proper machine operation and immediately report unusual noise, vibration, overheating or other machine-related issues.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / relevant technical qualification will be preferred.
- Freshers can apply if they have a genuine interest in industrial machine operation and manufacturing work.
- Candidates with 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, machining, fabrication or engineering environment will have an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of engineering components, workshop practices and measuring instruments is preferred.
- Ability to understand basic technical instructions and production drawings will be beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of tools such as vernier caliper, measuring tape, micrometer or other shop-floor instruments will be an advantage.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment.
- Responsible attitude toward machine safety, product quality and workplace discipline.
- Ability to work as part of a production team.
For Freshers
Freshers are welcome to apply. Candidates demonstrating a positive attitude, willingness to learn machine operation, basic technical understanding and commitment to safety and quality can be considered for suitable shop-floor responsibilities.
Experience Preferred
Candidates with previous exposure to CNC/industrial machines, fabrication equipment, machining operations, assembly work, engineering production or general shop-floor activities may be given preference depending on the specific production requirement.
Work Environment
This is a hands-on shop-floor manufacturing position. Candidates should be comfortable working around industrial machinery, engineering components and production activities. The role requires punctuality, discipline, attention to safety and the ability to follow instructions from production supervisors.
